WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE APPLYING
You do not have to be part of the Clean Sheets Assistance Program to qualify for Hygiene Items
Laundry services are calculated on an individual basis.
New families can catch up on laundry, however, it must fit in a max of two of our largest washers (this equals 12 small loads of laundry.) This is a one time option, at the beginning of services.
After that, we allot $5 per person, per week with a cap of $20 a week. At the initial visit, you will receive a laundry card with your monthly allotment, which can be used weekly, biweekly or once a month. Bring your card to each appointment and check-in with your Clean Sheets rep to swipe your card and receive your quarters.
The length of time in the program is based on a tiered system.
Tier 1 - This is a 6-month program. After 6 months, if re-application for full services is not needed, families will be given laundry services at a 50% discounted rate.
Tier 1 qualification includes: permanently disabled, elderly, homeless with extenuating circumstances.
Tier 2 - This is a 3-month program, reapplication available as space provides.
Tier 2 qualification includes: homeless, unemployed, working poor, agency referral.
